You can contact us through the form on our website, by phone or by email. An expert from our team will contact you in less than 24 hours to carry out an initial diagnosis at no cost and propose the most suitable solution for your needs.

Yes. We adapt our methodology to both large companies and SMEs. For smaller businesses we offer modular and accessible solutions that allow them to start improving efficiency without major initial investment.

Yes, we operate nationwide. Although our headquarters are in the Valencian Community, we deliver projects across Spain. We have specialised technicians and local partners who ensure close support anywhere in the country.
Savings and certification

Energy Efficiency

An energy audit is a systematic analysis of energy consumption and use in a facility. Its purpose is to identify where and how energy is used, detect inefficiencies and propose improvement measures with an estimated return on investment. It is the starting point of any serious energy efficiency plan.

Savings depend on the sector and the starting point of each company, but in industry it is common to achieve reductions of between 10% and 30% in energy consumption. Some projects have achieved savings above 40% thanks to a combination of low-cost measures, automation and equipment renewal.

ISO 50001 is the international standard that sets the requirements for implementing an Energy Management System in an organisation. It provides a structured framework to improve energy performance continuously, reduce costs and comply with legal requirements. iGEX is certified and supports you throughout the process.

The implementation time of an Energy Management System depends on the size and complexity of the organisation. On average, the full process up to ISO 50001 certification takes between 6 and 12 months. iGEX manages the entire process: diagnosis, documentation, internal training and certification audit.

IPMVP is the global reference standard for measuring and verifying achieved energy savings. It is important because it allows the results of any efficiency project to be demonstrated objectively and in an auditable way. iGEX has CMVP-certified technicians to apply this protocol.
Certificates and incentives

CAEs and Funding

Energy Saving Certificates are a regulated financing mechanism for energy savings in Spain. Companies that implement energy efficiency measures can obtain these certificates and sell them to energy retailers and distributors, generating additional income that accelerates the return on investment.

Any company or entity that carries out a verifiable energy efficiency measure can access CAEs: industries, SMEs, homeowners? associations, public administrations and individuals. The key is that the action must produce real and demonstrable final energy savings according to IPMVP.

iGEX manages the full process: feasibility study, preparation of technical documentation, submission to MITECO, measurement and verification of savings through IPMVP, and commercialisation of the certificates. All this with full transparency and, in most cases, with no upfront cost for the client.

The process from prior notification of the action to obtaining and settling the CAEs usually takes between 6 and 18 months, depending on the complexity of the measure and administrative timeframes. iGEX takes care of the entire process to minimise time and maximise the amount obtained.

Yes, in most cases CAEs are compatible with other public aid schemes such as PERTE, MOVES, European funds or regional subsidies. However, some programmes have limitations. Our team analyses each case to maximise total available funding without breaching the applicable regulations.
LuzIA platform

Software and Technology

LuzIA is the energy management platform developed by iGEX. It allows you to monitor your facility?s energy KPIs in real time, analyse consumption by process or area, detect anomalies and generate automatic reports. It is designed for energy-intensive industries and integrates with the main SCADA and ERP systems on the market.

It depends on the existing infrastructure in your facility. In many cases it is possible to take advantage of the meters and sensors already installed. When additional measurement points are needed, iGEX supplies and installs compatible monitoring hardware with minimal investment.

LuzIA provides real-time data on electricity and fuel consumption, production, efficiency ratios, energy costs, CO₂ emissions, comparisons against baselines and deviation alarms. Everything is displayed in intuitive dashboards accessible from any device.

LuzIA includes a REST API and native connectors for leading systems on the market: SAP, Oracle, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Ignition and other industrial SCADA platforms. iGEX?s technical team performs the custom integration and ensures compatibility with your existing IT/OT infrastructure.

LuzIA complies with demanding industrial security standards. Data is transmitted encrypted via TLS 1.3, stored on European servers under GDPR, and the platform includes multi-factor authentication, role-based access control and full activity auditing. We also offer private infrastructure deployment for environments with special requirements.
Cost optimisation

Energy Consultancy

We work on every cost lever: we optimise your supply contract, negotiate in wholesale markets for more competitive prices, analyse and correct billing errors, and propose tariff or contracting changes according to your consumption profile.

Aggregated energy purchasing consists of grouping the consumption volume of several companies to negotiate more favourable conditions in the electricity market. By aggregating demand, access is gained to wholesale market prices that would otherwise only be available to large consumers. iGEX acts as the representative of the group in the market.

Yes, we carry out a detailed analysis of your electricity and gas bills from the last 12 months at no cost. We verify the correct tariff application, the suitability of contracted power, the existence of avoidable penalties and any anomaly that may be unnecessarily increasing your energy cost.

A carbon footprint measures the total greenhouse gas emissions caused directly and indirectly by an organisation, product or activity. It is expressed in tonnes of CO₂ equivalent. iGEX calculates it according to GHG Protocol standards and ISO 14064, covering scopes 1, 2 and 3 depending on client needs.

Yes. We advise on photovoltaic self-consumption, biomass, biogas and cogeneration, assessing the technical and economic viability of each solution for your facility. We also guide you on available grants, administrative procedures and the impact on your energy and carbon balance.
Planning and results

Projects and Implementation

Timelines vary greatly depending on scope. A basic energy audit can be completed in 4 to 6 weeks. The implementation of improvement measures and monitoring systems usually ranges from 3 to 6 months. More complex projects such as cogeneration or large photovoltaic installations may require 12 to 18 months including administrative processing.

We apply the IPMVP methodology to independently measure and verify achieved savings. This means the results are objective, auditable and legally supported. In projects where we assume performance risk, we guarantee a minimum savings level through energy performance contracts.

Yes, continuous support is part of our service model. Once the measures are implemented, we periodically monitor energy indicators, issue performance reports and identify new improvement opportunities. Our clients have a dedicated contact person at iGEX for any query or incident.

Success is measured through KPIs previously agreed with the client: reduced energy consumption, lower costs, improvement of the Energy Performance Indicator, reduced emissions and return on investment. All these indicators are continuously monitored through LuzIA and reported in periodic reports.

Industrial decarbonisation is the process of progressively reducing CO₂ and other greenhouse gas emissions in production processes with the aim of achieving climate neutrality. It involves a combination of measures: energy efficiency, process electrification, renewable energy integration, cogeneration and residual emissions compensation.
